Wingspan 68mmNorthwest are the fourth largest airline in the USA, initially famous for its ad hoc appearance it underwent several changes of name and livery. It started as Northwest Airlines, but when routes to East Asia were added, the name became Northwest Orient from 1947 to 1989. This limited edition model with the registration N298US entered operation in April 1980, and was retired on January 5, 2002. All the die-cast aircraft from the Herpa Wings range are made to an exceptionally high standard, both in terms of the detailed Tampo printed liveries and the quality of the construction.
