Exclusive Republic Commando Full-Color Hand-Painted Maquette

Last year, StarWarsShop offered an extremely limited quantity of bronze-finish maquettes inspired by the characters depicted in LucasArts' Star Wars Republic Commando video game. With only 400 produced worldwide, the short quantities offered were an instant sell-out.

Now, StarWarsShop is able to offer an exclusive colorized version of the hotly sought-after commando quartet, this time with a worldwide edition size of just 500! As with the bronze maquette, this piece was prototyped by the artisans at Gentle Giant Studios who were contracted to oversee the production of this official Lucasfilm piece. Their work included the stunning new paint master for this exclusive StarWarsShop offering.

Measuring a robust 7.5 inches tall, this hefty sculpture features four Republic Commandos poised for battle, each sporting armor and artillery that has been realistically rendered in full-color. Visual details that were not possible in the bronze-colored version -- scars, scorch marks, muddied armor, and the ubiquitous "1138" -- are effectively captured in this version, lending each soldier a new measure of individuality (can you identify Scorch, Boss, Fixer, and Sev?).

The sculpture's unique configuration conveniently allows for viewing from all angles, making this an exceptionally cool item for display. Remember, there are only 500 of these stunning painted editions available.

  • Inspired by the LucasArts video game Republic Commando

  • Edition Size of 500 pieces worldwide

  • Sculpted by the artisans of Gentle Giant Studios

  • Measures approximately 7.5" tall

Hi DieCastAsia,

Very nice maquettes. It might interesting to explore the possibility of 3D printing. If you already have 3D digital model of your avatar or maquette it's not so hard to print in full color in 3d.
